A series of window displays made for Fendi’s NYC Madison Avenue store to coincide with the release of their spring/summer 2020 collection. The displays evoke the forms of gently falling petals and serve as a backdrop for mannequins displaying the season’s new line.

Each window contains a set of fabric-covered shapes that gently move to evoke the graceful swaying of flower petals in the summertime. Sheer fabric and strong lighting accentuate the overlapping petals and their shadows.

The petals are suspended by thin nylon line, and their movement is controlled by a series of programmed motors and pulleys. By changing the pulleys and positioning of the wires, the position and movement of each petal can be adjusted.
